Painting the kitchen
T showed Weezie how to use a roller and the edger today. Previously she has helped with a brush and done pretty well. She was getting into it and singing away with The Eagles.
The paint is a Dulux colour called Mocha Accent. It will warm up the room I think. Our kitchen is fairly large and has lots of windows. The cupboards are white and the floor is very light tile. I think this darker colour will be cozier as well.
The moulding at the bottom will remain white ( my job with the varathane ) and T will paint the chair rail black. The crown moulding at the tops of the cupboards and the kick-plates at the bottom will be black as well. He is also going to repaint the kitchen table. I will post another photo when more gets done.
My job this morning was getting coat number 3 of primer on the doors and moulding near the kids' rooms and the linen closet at the end of the hall.
