I'm making bread crumbs!

I've never made them before but figured it couldn't be that hard. I had a bag of left-over buns from Bertha's 30th birthday day party. The bag has sat in the freezer since June. I had thought about using them for stuffing since they got rather stale from the party. Yesterday I came up with the bread crumbs idea. I sat them on cookie sheets over night to thaw all the way and dry a little bit. Then I cut them up into cubes and put them on a cookie sheet. About 30 minutes or so in a 250 oven gets them nice and dry and even a little golden and toasty-looking.

Next step will be to smash the cubes around in the food processor to make crumbs.
