My Bingo education.
Last night Leah and I volunteered at Chilliwack Bingo. We did the Late Night shift ( 10:00 to 12:30 ) so that our school will get it's gaming money. There were very few people there so it was kind of boring. Most of the winners were using the Starship ( computer ) machines, so we didn't have to handle the payouts. A few winners had hand-held machines and/or cards, so those payouts we had to do.
It was rather interesting to see how the games were handled, and the lingo is a riot. I liked the game of "a fly swatter and 2 flies". I have never played Bingo in my life and it took some getting used to how things were done. Leah and I figured that we should come one night and play. It might help us know what to do better during our volunteer shifts!
