I am the slave of laundry

Oooooh, everyone in the family needs a smack upside the head!

We did yard work earlier and got a little dirty. I casually mention to hubby that I should wash the close in "hot" since they were a little dirtier than usual. The response, "So that's how all my clothes get shrunk, you wash them in hot/hot." Grrrrrr ( to quote my son ).

For starters the washer has 4 settings cold/cold, warm/cold, warm/warm, and hot/cold. If you had done laundry more than once since we moved in you would know that! So the ONE time you did do laundry I had happened to have used the hot/cold cycle ( probably the ONLY time I've used it in 3 months ) and you had to change it. Oh darn!

Kyra is complaining of no clean pants. Well up until this morning's shopping trip I had no laundry soap for 2 days. Gee maybe I am trying to save money so you can have your 6th birthday party next week, you ungrateful little thing!

I am sorely tempted to make everyone do their own laundry and see how they like it......

Wow I thought I was the only one on the edge today! I think people have mistaken me for a piece of crap that can be walked all over.... well this crap is yelling back. Mommy don't play this game! And do teacher's not believe in telling parents when there is a pro-d day! People I need to know what is going on 2 weeks in advance. I like to pretend I have a life outside cleaning, cooking, driving and just living inside these walls!
Ok enough of ranting... bavthree
I hear ya! Laundry is *not* a favorite activity of mine. As a matter of fact, in the entire time DH and I have been together, he has always done his own laundry and I do mine (and DS's about 95% of the time).

The common complaint in our household is that I always have clothes in the dryer when DH needs it.
Okay thanks I laughed so hard I think I peed myself. Hope that the laundry releases you so you can come out and play. Escaaaaaaaaape!!!!!!!!!!!
