Quick update

It was my daughter's 8th birthday on Sunday so I have spent the last week getting organized. We had several activities at the school as well, so no bloggy.

I have to leave soon to bring cupcakes for her class. Thanks for coming over on the weekend girls! Bertha I think I am in possession of shoes belonging to one of your sons.

Heart

T and I were back at the River Rock Theatre in Richmond last night to see Heart. It was a really good show, but only one and a half hours. All of it great though and Ann Wilson's voice is still fantastic.

We met our friends A and H for lunch today at Richmond Sushi. They have all you can eat for $10.95. The kids were $8.95. I think Weezer got her money's worth. Kaiser did alright but he doesn't like as much as she does. He was happiest with his miso soup and the chicken wings. The deep fried tofu was a hit too. She ate several rolls, yam tempura, chicken, tofu, scallops and soup.

Kindergarten at last!

My son loves it! He went for an hour and a half yesterday and 2 1/2 hours today. Yesterday I asked if he had a good time. He said that one little girl cried, "But I didn't. I had fun."

Mom and Dad took us to White Spot for lunch and he was thrilled with that too. He played with his Pirate Pack ship all afternoon.

I did take photos but they are not uploaded yet. Maybe soon.

My first Christmas ornament!

I made this cute little design in about 5 hours. The cross stitch is finished, except for one row of border at the top with the orangey colour.
It's from a Bucilla kit called "Tiny Stockings" that I purchased from Mary Maxim 2 or 3 years ago. There are several cute designs in the kit and I will probably make more some day.
For my next trick I actually have to make it into an ornament...
